  • According to the group, the next update will allow users to make hotel, restaurant reservations through Google Maps

oogle has launched Google Trips, the desktop version of its app that was rolled out last year. Users can now access flights, hotels, tour packages, weather and other vacation-related information through the app.

To access this service, users can go to the app, or search for hotels in or flights to a particular city and the results will take them to the new page. The app also saves information about recent searches, saved flights and places that users have previously checked. The tech giant said: “Recent searches, saved places and flights users are tracking are added automatically to their trips when signed into Google Account. Soon, we’ll add viewed things to do and saved and viewed hotels to their trips.” However, users can opt out of this setting if they want to.

In addition to these services, Google has also updated their maps to highlight all best places in cities that users are visiting. According to the tech giant, the next update will allow users to make hotel and restaurant reservations through Maps.
